I have checked Realtek's website on this exact card, and apparently it DOES have amplifiers built in on three different ports I have tried every port that I can plug my headphones into and have them recognized as headphones. I figured that the audio controls would be the exact same as my old Asus motherboard I was very, very wrong in that assumption. I just upgraded about two weeks ago to a new PC with an MSI motherboard.
